David Aaron Clark says he started shooting the feature about two weeks ago and all the sex scenes have been shot. There are still some dialogue pick-ups yet to do and Clark thinks it will be out by the end of April. "I was also lucky enough to get my pal Joey Silvera to do a non-sex role," says Clark.
"Basically, I have this thing where I'm a faggy artiste in some ways," Clark adds. "I look for performers who are going to inspire me and I've always had this soft spot for crazy Latinas. But I hadn't met one that made me go wow, I can do something with this girl, I can build a show around her." That is, until Clark met Aurora.
Clark: "Aurora came along. The last show she did for me was called Sex Driver [also for Heatwave] and she had a supporting role. She really blew me away. I said I was going to make my whole next show about her."
G. Ross: "What is it about her?"
Clark: "I hate to resort to cliches, but for one thing she's so honestly into the sex. Since I came down her [from San Francisco] I hear about how good things used to be in pornland, that it's all cold and by the numbers, now. But she's so honestly into it. When I read that item about her, oh your Ron Jeremy, I want to blow you, it's exactly her. How many girls would say that. She's very sexual and very crazy in a good way. It's funny because I have her playing a dominatrix and she took to it pretty naturally except in an earlier scene she's supposed to be reserved and not doing certain things sexually. The trouble I had was getting her to hold back and not do those things until later in the show. She's over the top and is very unaffected and very real. She has the potential to be a really good actress. Joey felt that once some of the bigger companies get to see her in something in which she acts, they'll want to pick her up for roles.
"The funny thing about her is that she's bagged around the business for a few months on the lower end of things. She really doesn't realize what she's got going for her, so she's accepted a lot of lower end gigs. That also put me on a mission because she seems so much like a diamond in the rough to me. That inspired me to where I wanted to build a show and show what she can do. And of course because she's a Latino with all the sort of Catholic issue that come built in, I can identify with that very deeply myself. It ends up driving a lot of myself. So having her to play off I can go into that darker territory of shame and lust.
"When I've told other actresses I've directed in the past, okay, you're going to be ashamed of what you're doing in this scene, they just kind of look at you blankly. Like, what do you mean? But she gets it. Her first scene is with Ted Hunter and a girl named Angela. She wields a strap-on in this scene. Jack Hammer was supposed to have been in it and get it up the butt, but he was enjoying the hospitality of the state that week. He's back out among us, now. It's the same warrant that he got picked up on before. He still hasn't cleared that up.
"He was kind of jealous when he got out: 'what, Opie didn't take it up the butt? I would have taken it up the butt from that girl.' I don't like the bukkakes because I think there should be some kind of cock sucking involved, but her other scene is kind of like a bukkake situation except she's sucking everybody's cock in a freight elevator - Brian Sherwood, Mark Wood, a couple of new guys whose names escape me. Then she goes on later to get to be fully fucked by all them in a gangbang, then finally one-on-one at the end with Ted Hunter.
"But the way the plot goes Ted Hunter is this masochist who comes to see Aurora who's a professional dominatrix. He fulfills his fantasy by bringing his girlfriend to her. Then he freaks out when she does the girl better than he does. This leads to him going nuts which causes this whole guilt-thing in Aurora who fucks herself silly to try to become pure again. We got to film at two great places. One was a genuine dungeon in LA, then we shot in this downtown building. This lead to another funny thing. Gabor tried to get me to use Dominique Simone. I was like, okay I'll use her. She shows up at this place which we found out The X-Files had rented as a location a month before and paid a ridiculous amount of money for. She shows up at the place and goes: 'this is dirty, this is cold, this is not Dominique Simone.' I didn't argue with her. I was not begging her to stay.
"This is why I love Aurora besides being sexually hypnotic. We shot this gangbang up on a roof in the middle of the night. It was freezing cold. After she did it, I needed her to punch this window. She did it not only once but twice and broke it for me. It wasn't fake glass. Most girls you can't get to show up on time, but she did this for me. She's a bombshell."
And she does anal.
