ENCINO, Calif.—Despite facing the most-challenging economy since World War II, the 2010 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) is experiencing strong attendee registration and exhibitor sales, show organizers announced today.
According to Home Entertainment Events, trade registration is up 120% from the same period last year while fan registration has increased a phenomenal 222%, and more than 100 exhibitors – including the major adult studios – are already confirmed to be in attendance.
AEE will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas from Thursday, Jan. 7 through Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 and is sponsored by AVN Media Network and produced by Home Entertainment Events. Trade and fan attendees can now register at AdultEntertainmentExpo.com.
“While AEE, and practically every other trade show, saw declines in attendance in 2009 due to the struggling economy, we are rebounding nicely for 2010,” said show spokesperson Sean Devlin. “We’re all tired of bailouts, foreclosures, and layoffs. It’s time to party again.:

AEE hosts the hottest adult entertainment stars in the world and several hundred exhibiting companies. Film star Sasha Grey will give the keynote address for the conference program, which will feature eight seminars over three days for trade attendees. Fan and trade will enjoy special floor features including musical performances, contest, talent appearances and more.
Trade registration provides an all-access badge that admits the holder to all AEE seminars, the main exhibit hall during all show hours, and the B2B marketplace.
The opening day on Thursday, Jan. 7 is restricted to trade attendees only, and special “trade only” hours on Friday and Saturday will restrict access to industry professionals and the media in order to permit exhibitors to make and build business and media contacts before fans are allowed into the Expo.
The VIP Fan Package include access to show floor an hour earlier than general admission on January 8th, a dedicated registration area, AEE Show Directory, and an exclusive T-shirt at $80 for a 1-day ticket, at the Early Bird rates, before Dec. 15, 2009.
