Astrux Entertainment is shooting a new series for Metro Studios called Who’s Next in Porn?, which features only newcomers, a few of whom are doing their first sex scene.
The first volume features performances by Alexis Red, Lana Peaches, Tatum, Sasha and Allie Kat, while No. 2 will feature Ashley Steel, among others.
“It’s going to be a fun project. We’re getting all the new girls, people who aren’t comfortable with the industry yet. But after they meet us, they’re more comfortable,” Astrux co-owner Phil Martin said Friday from the set of No. 1.
The 20-year-old Red, who started her adult film career less than a month ago after moving to Los Angeles from Baltimore, Md., told AVN.com she was doing only her third boy/girl on Friday.
“I just got finished a little bit ago. My male talent {Alex Rox} told me that he almost popped during the whole scene. He kept having to pull it out and he said that doesn’t happen often with him,” she said.
Red, who is 5-foot-5 with hazel eyes and shoulder-length red hair, said she did modeling in Baltimore and ventured to L.A. to see if she might like porn. She admitted to some early jitters.
“At first I kind of was nervous, because it’s me and a guy and like 30,000 other people,” Red joked. “I was thinking, ‘I can’t believe all these people are going to watch me have sex.’ … Then I thought millions of people are going to watch this anyway once it comes out.”
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old Steel, one of the stars of the second volume, has already gained some mainstream notoriety by going on Tom Leykis’s popular radio show and talking about how she wanted to raise money for her UCLA tuition.
Who’s Next in Porn? will be released in the spring.
