Aspiring Discount Adult DVD Retailers Busted by Assistant Principal

Hamilton County Prosecutor Mike Allen is well known for going after adult retailers – but he hasn’t announced if he’ll prosecute two students at one of Ohio’s best high schools who were busted this week for selling adult DVDs to other students on school grounds.

Two students at St. Xaiver High School, an all-boys school that the Cincinnati Enquirer reports is one of “best schools in the region,” were caught selling adult DVDs for $10 each on schools grounds. The students face disciplinary action and possibly criminal charges.

Thirteen other students who allegedly purchased the DVDs may also be disciplined.

The aspiring discount adult DVD retailers were caught simply because of bad luck – one of their customers dropped a DVD in front of the school’s assistant principal.

"He must have had it in his belt or under his shirt," school spokesman Paul Zook told the Enquirer. "He grabbed the DVD and asked, 'Am I in trouble?' From there, the whole thing just unraveled.''

Local police officials and Mike Allen are looking into the matter.

It is not yet known where the students obtained their DVDs.

"This was just a couple of kids that were going to make some bucks selling porn. We caught it before it got beyond the initial sales," Zook said.
