Ashlyn Gere Inks New Contract with Rob Black; Vivid Nixes Van Damage/Tiffany Mynx Deal

According to Rob Black, he's just signed Ashlyn Gere for five years. Her first movie is a March 18 release, titled Lizzie Borden's House of Whores. In April she'll do her first-ever gonzo feature, Whack Attack 5.

"Ashlyn gets it in the ass, and Tommy [Byron] will be fuckin' her ass every which way there's known to man," says Black.

Though David Aaron Clark was to have handed in his two-weeks' notice, Black says he's working out things with Clark that takes their professional relationship in another direction. For one thing, Clark's being taken off the PR beat.

"He [Clark] wants to learn how to direct and learn how to edit. I'm going to let him do movies if they're good," Black says. "We'll go from there."

Black seemed rather amused by the rumors that now have Tiffany Mynx and Van Damage coming back to him.

Black: "Hey, Tommy, you fuckin' here that? The word's on the street that Van's back, Tiffany's back and everything's hunky-dory. It's all true. Are you crazy? Where the hell does that come from? It's the furthest from the truth. We had a meeting with Van [Feb. 24] about model releases and shit like that, but that's the furthest from the truth. It would never happen in a million years. Van hasn't tooken [sic] Vivid's deal yet. We told him, Van why don't you go work for Stevie? Oh man, the condom-thing. I told Stevie, what are you gonna do, now? Call Van the Condom Crusader? Is that gonna be your new ad campaign? What's goin' on baby?

Hirsch: He [Black] wants us to get Van Damage. The reason is because if Van is here, it won't affect him [Black]. I know he's [Black's] already got this marketing plan in his mind set up - the Condom Crusader as opposed to the Bareback Bravado. That's going to be his whole marketing campaign: Ha-Ha-Ha look at Van Damage, now he's a condom guy." Hirsch says there isn't any deal on the table either with Van Damage or Minx, although Hirsch had shown some initial interest in Minx. Money, and too much of it seems to be the issue.

Black: "See, I told you the [Vivid] deal wasn't going to happen. I told you. Didn't I tell you? They [Damage and Minx] want too much money because of what I was paying them. You'd think that if I wasn't paying them, and fucking them...bullshit... they'd take anything they could get, right? Tiffany had a good life. I told them they ain't gonna get paid by anybody else out there. Nobody's gonna give you fuckin ten [$10,000] a movie. They're not comin' back, never in a million years...those fuckin pieces of shit."
