Arthur Killer Kane - New Jail Babes Cover Boy

The hunt continues for Jack Hammer and his whereabouts. Mark Kulkis of Hustler who's had Hammer working on the Jail Babes series is particularly curious. Kulkis is "general manager" of the series, as the best way of putting it.

Kulkis: "I'll try paging him [Hammer] right now. Jail Babes is going good. Number 3 is coming out next, but, for Number 5, we got Arthur "Killer" Kane who's one of the founders of The New York Dolls, to do a still shoot with one of our girls. She's like naked all over him, but he's not doing a sex role. He's on the cover. Rolling Stone's doing a story about that. I think they'll elaborate on the series, but Kane was the hook that made them buy it. We got one woman [named Tootsie] who's currently in a halfway house, and we shot her. Now she's become kind of a pimp for us. To shoot, these girls have to apply for a church pass. We shoot them on a Sunday. They apply for a church pass to go to church, and so they got this window of opportunity from noon to four on Sunday. That's the only time we can shoot them. So we shot this one woman whose porn named was Tootsie. She had just gotten out of the federal pen where she did 15 years for robbing something like 30 banks. So she's scoping out talent for us. She brings this one girl in. We're going to shoot her, and everything looks good. A couple of days later Tootsie calls back and tells us the word's out that this girl's going down for a bad urine test. I said thanks for the tip so we didn't schedule her. Sure enough, a week later, she was sent back to the pen.

"Jack Hammer brought us a couple of girls for the second volume. He's a good performer, and we like using him. Then we heard that he went back to prison so we kind of wrote him off. Actually we haven't had any kind of scenes the last week where we could use him. So that's why I haven't been trying to track him down. You gotta love Jack."

Hammer's girlfriend Cheyenne, who was in the adult business around 1992, then called to say that Jack is definitely back. "He's here at home in Ventura where we live," said Cheyenne who used to work a lot with Cal Jammer. "We're booking all this stuff for him. Tell them I'm back, too." Cheyenne was told to have Hammer call in, that the Elvis sightings lead 2 to 1, but that Jack has a chance to catch up.
