Aphrodisiac Soda to Hit the Market

Local television stations are reporting this week that a new soda said to be an aphrodisiac will soon be available across the country.

Turn On, a new cherry soda made with guarana, ginseng, caffeine, gingko biloba and other ingredients, will be hitting store shelves soon even though it was banned in France and Denmark, WKMG-TV reported.

According to the company’s Website, the drink “contains erotic herbs that when combined inthis unique way gives you a feeling of warmth and sensuality, a nice tingling sensation… increased sexual energy and desire and a delicious sensation of euphoria.”

Although its makers claim the drink is safe, doctors are already warning it may not be suitable for everyone. They warn children, pregnant women and those with high blood pressure should steer clear of the new soda.

The soda comes with the warning: This beverage will arouse you.

But Dr. Marilyn Volker told Fort Lauderdale’s WSVN-TV that the drink may not arouse anyone, but that it could act as a placebo.

“Some people would respond by the fact they are allowing themselves to think they are being turned on,” she said.

The soda is available for purchase online for $3.50 at www.2turnon.com.
