CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Antigua Pictures has announced that it will now handle foreign, domestic and broadcast distribution for production firm Sudden Impact. The deal will take effect with the release of Tiny's Black Adventures 4, shipping Nov. 1 and hitting shelves Nov. 8.
Owned by Derek Dozer and male performer Julian, Sudden Impact produces the internet-based DVD series Big Tit Patrol, Giant Black Meat White Treat, Big Cock Teen Addiction, Barefoot Maniacs and Mr. Big Dick’s Hot Chicks. Formerly kn own as Twisted Pink, the company launched its current incarnation in December 2006 with an emphasis on gonzo and reality-porn content.
"I brought Derek in when I was running Extreme Associates, in '99, to learn the business," Antigua's Jon Blatt told AVN. "He started shooting for Extreme, and he cut his teeth there, and then he moved on and ended up doing this. His line is good — I only distribute for one company now, 21st Sextury, and I figured there's room for just another really, really good line — so I took on the Sudden Impact line."
Currently, Antigua ships up to two 21st Sextury titles per week, and Blatt stressed that with those and the soon-to-be added Sudden Impact releases, as well as Antigua's own original productions, "There's no re-releases or compilations coming out, period. All titles released through Antigua Pictures, all my producers, there are no comps, no nothing but new."
Meanwhile, Blatt also noted that the Fever line from 21st Sextury has been discontinued, and that he has brokered broadcast deals for both 21st Sextury and Sudden Impact with New Frontier Media.
