Antigua Pictures will begin distributing a high-end line of adult films from a new production company based in Scottsdale, Ariz., called 21st Sextury Video.
21st Sextury (21sexturyvideo.com) specializes in never-before-seen, young talent, and is launching six different lines in the next two months. Each line from the company will have “Fever” in the title.
Antigua will begin shipping 21st Sextury’s first release, Teen Fever, on Thursday, followed by Hardcore Fever and Anal Fever. Three other titles - Lesbian Fever, Cum Fever and DP Fever - will follow with dates to be announced.
21st Sextury indicated that even though its focus is on hot, new girls, that it is also casting equally good looking male talent to cater to the increasing number of female consumers of adult entertainment.
Each video will feature at least six sex scenes and have at least two hours of running time. The videos will also all be filmed on location, not at soundstages, and each title will contain what it says.
21st Sextury Video president Rory Collins said the company is taking special care with its box covers, artwork, DVD menus and extras.
“We believe that we have some of the best artwork in the industry,” Collins said. “We know how important it is to have an appealing box that will get the customer to pick it up off the shelf and buy it.”
Jon Blatt, president of domestic sales for the Chatsworth, Calif.-based Antigua Pictures, said he was excited about the new deal.
“The chicks are smoking hot,” Blatt told AVN.com. “These are young girls with good looking guys you just don’t see in all these other movies, and the sex is hot with lots of anal and d.p.’s. I’m thrilled to get this line. I don’t know what I did to deserve it, but things just work out sometimes.”
Antigua Pictures’ Al Thornton echoed Blatt’s sentiments, adding “we’re completely looking forward to collaborating with Rory.”
Blatt said it was Antigua’s intention to form an alliance with a strong Web company, and that 21st Sextury has one of the biggest pay sites on the Net.
“I’m just hoping the stores will catch on,” Blatt continued. “These titles are at a high price point. This is the highest-end line we carry. I want all my customers to give me a shot on it and they’ll see that it sells. This is the most expensive product I have, but I want my distributors to give me a chance.”
Collins added, "With his experience in domestic sales, this is a win-win situation. The whole Antigua camp is well experienced and equipped to handle a collaboration of this magnitude.”
