LOS ANGELES - Antigua Pictures has signed Briana Banks Entertainment to an exclusive worldwide distribution deal that includes DVD, video-on-demand, broadcast and licensing rights.
"We are happy to be part of this exciting time with Briana," Antigua Pictures president Todd Blatt told AVN. "We look forward to using our sales expertise to bring Briana's new company to the top of the game. We will pull out all the stops to get her debut film in front of every customer in the business."
Banks has already wrapped her first movie, a high-end vignette release with the current working title Briana Banks' Lustrous. The DVD will ship at the end of the month for an early February street date.
Featuring ex-Vivid contract girl Banks in every scene, Lustrous also boasts a strong supporting cast including Angelina Valentine, Erik Everhard, Marco Banderas, Jerry, Angie Savage, Madeleine, Alexis Texas, Chris Johnson, Rocco Reed, and Ben English.
"Every scene is a different fantasy," Banks told AVN. "There's a loose storyline, but not a lot of dialogue. The look is very beautiful, and I think the fans will be really pleased with the results."
Antigua sales manager David Peskin worked with Banks early in her career, and later during her time as a Vivid Girl.
"It's great to be working with Briana again," Peskin told AVN. "We've all seen Briana Banks as one of the top girls in the industry for a long time, and now we see Briana the businesswoman. We'll be announcing some new contract girls in the future, and we're planning to ramp up our release schedule quickly to two titles a month following the launch of the first movie."
Briana Banks Entertainment will be exhibiting with Antigua this week at booth #4037 at the 2009 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. Banks will be singing with Madeline Marie, Angie Savage and Angelina Valentine.
