The president of War-Line, the anti-porn group that harasses and photographs customers of adult establishments in Louisville, is a registered sex offender. He’s also a convicted felon, currently on probation for armed robbery, sodomy and murder.
Much like Phil Burress, the president of the Ohio chapter of Citizens for Community values, John E. Reneer, the president of War-Line, is a “redeemed” porn enthusiast who blames his past problems on pornography.
Reneer was convicted for sodomy in the first degree. Sodomy in the first degree is a felony, and requires the act to have been done to someone without their consent. He is required to register with Kentucky’s Sex Offender Registration program for the rest of his life.
While Reneer admits his past crimes to the media, there is no mention of this on War-Line.com, the Website where Reneer posts photographs of customers of shopping adult retailer Pure Pleasure in an attempt to shame them into no longer purchasing adult items.
Last week, an employee of Pure Pleasure hosed him down with water after Reneer started bringing lighting equipment so that he could take better photographs of customers.
