Porn star/sex educator/performance artist Annie Sprinkle and Elizabeth M. Stephens are getting married this Saturday and everyone is invited to the wedding ceremony. Via a live Web cast that is.
And everyone will be invited to the next six weddings the couple plans on having as part of exploration of “love as art.”
This wedding will be the first of seven, one a year for a seven-year cycle, each based on a charka (a Hindu spiritual tradition that has been adopted by New Age spiritualists).
Sprinkle and Stephens plan on having their wedding ceremony in front of a few friends and family in a small performance space in Manhattan that will be begin at 3:10 p.m. EST (noon PT). Most of the guests are artists, who will collaborate with the Sprinkle and Stephens to create the wedding, or as the couple refer to it, their “collaboration of love.”
They will both be wearing red, the chakra color of this year’s wedding, which has a theme of “security.”
