Angelpix Shoots Borass in Europe

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Borass, an XXX parody of the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy smash, goes before the cameras this weekend. It’s a production of Angelpix, which will release the finished product online only, not on DVD, in the U.S.

The star is Pamela Sandersin, the celebrity lookalike and Angelpix exclusive, who gets pursued by Borass just as Pamela Anderson was chased by Borat.

Directed by Roland Dante, the longtime collaborator of Angelpix president Angelique, the movie will shoot for three days in Budapest.

“We have some gorgeous Hungarian girls lined up, in addition to Pamela,” Angelique told AVN, adding that she’ll be directing certain scenes herself.

In the title role is Spanish actor Torbe, a 2005 AVN Award nominee as Best Supporting Actor in IFG’s Hot Rats. A porno-mainstream crossover, with a television show in Spain and a lively website, www.putalocura.com, he’ll have several sex scenes as Borass.

Monseigneur Mike, a black Parisian rapper with a major-label record deal, has written and recorded a song for Borass, in rapid-fire French. It’s “all about his wanting Pamela,” Angelique said.

Another song, “I’m On a Quest,” was co-written, in English, by Angelique herself and a group called the Bowlwinders. “This is the theme song and it’s all about Borass on his quest.”

Angelique explained that Borass “is not just a takeoff on Borat, he is a character of his own, with his own appeal. He’ll have a kind of John Travolta look, wearing a white suit.”

The movie will be released online on a channel to be announced later. “I’m not looking to do any domestic DVDs at all,” Angelique said. Distribution of Angelpix’ three previous Pamela Sandersin DVDs was by Sin City.
