Angelica Sin

Busty and beautiful Angelica Sin, a second generation stripper, starts up her website angelicasin.com and explains some of the trial and error involved in getting the right people to do it for her.

Sin: "I was real excited to get my website finally going. I had kind of held off. I had been in the business a couple of years. I waited because I interviewed with a couple of companies and didn't feel real comfortable. They were big sales people and I thought something smells funny like they're not going to be all on the up and up. Especially like here in Los Angeles, everybody said they could build my website. I'm like, really? I finally went with a company based in Long Island."

G. Ross: "That's saying something for Los Angeles."

Sin: "No, it's just that when I'm here in Los Angeles [she's from the east coast, originally], if you mention something to somebody, they immediately know how to do it; they seem to know how to do ten different industries. But once you get the ball rolling it's a different story. But this company I'm with does the movies, Days Inn, Best Western, different places like that. Their computer setup is amazing.

"They only take on certain girls in the adult aspect. The girls have to keep up with their content and requirements on our part so that there isn't charge backs. That's the number one thing. They don't want to have that problem. But I was really impressed by them. It wasn't like they were trying to sell me on it.

"I've been in the business three years, and I've done 185 movies. But over three years that isn't much. I also go out and feature dance and enjoy that a lot, plus I get to promote by website.

"I do live out here now but I was living in Ft. Lauderdale before. I love it and went to go back, or at least have a double-residency because with Florida you don't have the state income tax. I was born in North Carolina and I went to the University of South Carolina for college. And I lived in Atlanta, Georgia for awhile. I'm a southern girl and I stayed in the southeast.

"I took up nursing in college. I focused on nutrition and preventative medicine and I was a personal trainer at Gold's Gym for awhile while I was going to school. Then I worked at Children's Garden which was an after school program for children from at-risk families. That was kind of a jobs corps program in exchange for some loans I got for school. Then, working in a hospital was kind of too much for me. Working in an emergency room wasn't really what I wanted to do. I did do some volunteer work but I didn't like needles and was always afraid of the dangers of that. It never appealed to it. Nursing has such a huge umbrella term for what you're studying in school.

"Then, I went on to be a flight attendant. There are a lot of flight attendants that are nurses. You have to know CPR and a few other things. I did that for awhile, but I didn't like that very much because I was getting hit on all the time by all these businessmen traveling out of town. I asked myself what the hell was I doing. I always flew like North Carolina/South Carolina/Atlanta/Miami/Tampa."

G. Ross: "That's the sex belt where the heat and humidity fry everyone's brains."

Sin: "Exactly. And we had the short skirts. Then the Olympics came to Atlanta and some girlfriends of mine said God we can go make some money. Let's waitress at the strip clubs. I went to audition and the manager told me I'm not going to be a waitress there. I asked why. He said you're going to have to dance. So he made me get up on stage and all that good stuff. It was funny. I was still a fly attendant during the week and stripping on the weekends until I got recognized.

"The pilots I used to fly with always had adult magazines in their cases. I know when I did some magazines they all knew me...I worked in Atlanta then went to Ft. Lauderdale. They would have features that came in and photographers would come in hunting for new talent. So I did some photo shoots and some traveling to different clubs, but you don't get the kind of money when you're an adult star. We had features come to the club in Ft. Lauderdale, and I talked to Jenna Jameson and Jill Kelly and Felecia and Chasey Lain. Chasey's actually from the same place in North Carolina that I'm from. We thought maybe we were like third or fourth cousins or something. And Jenna and I have the same birthday which we thought was funny. Jenna invited me to come out to L.A. to do a girl/girl scene. I tried it and liked it. I met people on the set like Vince Vouyer and they invited me to do movies. I went back to Ft. Lauderdale, packed up and came out to L.A. with my husband who was a stockbroker. We had met in college. So we came out and started doing movies, and he's in them, too, as Rich Handsome. It turned out okay. It wasn't that complicated.

"My dad and mom are cool with it. My mom was a stripper when she was 20. She met my dad who was a bouncer at the club. So when I went off to strip my mom said it was inevitable because it was in my blood. Then when I did the magazines, she thought that was good, too. She got offers to do that but had me.

"When I was a little kid I remember hearing my mom and dad watching the movies late at night. I'd peek through the door and watch them. So when I started doing movies she thought it was awesome. My parents are just freaks in the bedroom. We'd laugh about it. It was the funniest thing.

"Then I met Nina Hartley, and she's a nurse, and just the whole philosophy of how she talks about love and sex and energy between people - I believe that same philosophy."

{Sin said she'll be going to the Internet conference in New Orleans from May 31 to June 2 and intends to rush back to be at the Erotica L.A. that Sunday. "I'll probably be at the A.I.M. booth," she said. "It'll be my first time going to that."
