Hot on the heels of an AVN Awards nomination for Best Interactive DVD for Playing with Ariana Jollee, directed by Chico Redfield, Anarchy Films announced today that Venus will star in Playing with Venus, also directed by Redfield.
Venus is also slated to star in Narcassist 2, assuming the lead role in the series from Jollee.
Python Pictures, a sister label of Anarchy Films, also streets with a new series called Streetwalkers, conceived and captured by Allan Smithee, featuring actual streetwalking courtesans around the Hollywood area.
Python Pictures owner and national sales manager for Anarchy Films, James Melendy, said, “This is going to be one hellava series because, unlike many other reality based efforts, I’m really going after the real thing, if you know what I mean.
“Oh, and Allan’s related to, but is not the Allan Smithee of mainstream Hollywood fame,” he joked.
Anarchy is currently putting out three new releases per month, while Python Pictures puts out one monthly title. In 2005, Anarchy plans to expand its new-release schedule to four titles per month, which Python intends to match.
