Wireless brand extension agency, 5280 Mobile, has joined forces with celebrity model agency Alpha Models to showcase clients in the mobile phone marketplace. Products including wallpapers and video will launch worldwide this summer, it was jointly announced today by Blake Fayling, president of 5280 Mobile, and Scott James Strohmyer, chief executive of Alpha Models.
5280 Mobile will develop and distribute Alpha Models products in the U.S. and overseas via carrier decks and an Alpha Models-branded WAP site. Although many of the models are Playboy Playmates, Alpha Models wireless product will offer only sexy bikini and lingerie content.
“We are very excited to introduce Alpha Models to the wireless world,” says Fayling. “Their celebrity models have a loyal fan base that already identify with the online experience, and having their favorite beauty on their phone will only enhance that.”
“The Internet is an incredible way for our models and their fans to communicate and interact, and we know that with the addition of wireless products this will be greatly enhanced,” says Strohmyer. “We look forward to working with 5280 Mobile as we find new and exciting ways to extend the Alpha Models brand and reach.”
