STUDIO CITY, Calif. - Alexander DeVoe Productions is throwing a party to celebrate its 2009 AVN Awards nominations Jan. 2 at Club Aura.
"This is a night for everyone that has been in DeVoe's movies, because without the great performances from the talent this would not be possible," said organizer Giana Taylor. "The event is open to the public, and we encourage fans to come and join this celebration."
Co-hosted by Marie Luv and Mr. Marcus, the party will reunite many of the directors and stars who gathered at the same venue in 2008 for the 1st Annual Urban Spice Awards (now renamed the Urban X Awards.)
On the guest list are Melrose Foxxx, Prince Yahshua, Rico Strong, Sophie Dee, Jon Jon, Rebeca Linares, Mr. Pete, Jada Fire, Bobbi Starr, Nat Turnher, Kelly Divine, Justin Slayer, Charlie Chase, Mark Anthony, and many more. Mr. Marcus will showcase his Daddy Inc and Daddy Girl clothing lines.
DeVoe is up for AVN's Best Director - Ethnic Video award this year. He scored nine other nominations for his Jules Jordan Video-distributed series such as Black Ass Addiction, Freakaholics, Phat Ass White Booty, Black Ass Master and Deep in Latin Cheeks.
Club Aura is located at 12215 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. Red carpet arrivals begin at 10 p.m.
Advance fan tickets are available for $10 at wantickets.com under 'DeVoe Nominations Party'. Cover charge is $15 at the door, with industry admitted free before 11 p.m. Donations for the 2009 Urban X Awards are appreciated.
