LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures contract stars Mikayla Mendez and Alektra Blue serve as presenters tonight at the 11th Annual Transworld Skateboarding Awards at the Avalon in Hollywood, thus kicking off a whirlwind weekend of activity for the two with the simultaneous opening at the Los Angeles Convention Center of Erotica LA 2009.
Produced by Transworld SKATEboarding, a premiere magazine for the sport, the event honors skateboarding's top athletes, and will feature Mendez and Blue throughout the evening escorting winners and presenting trophies to them on stage. AVN Award-nominated director Van Styles, whose longtime association with the skateboarding community led to Wicked's involvement, will be in attendance as well.
Awards the two contract sisters will help dispense include: Best Rookie, Best Street Skater, Best Team, TWS Readers' Choice, TWS Legend Award and Best Video.
Mendez and Blue can currently be seen in director Brad Armstrong's recently released House of Wicked, and they just wrapped their roles in his next epic, 2040.
