Al Goldstein is seeking gainful employment, preferably in Los Angeles. Having helmed Screw for thirty-five years he offers prospective employers his managerial experience, plus access to his extensive network of connections in the adult industry.
Goldstein is looking a weekly salary, and willing to take on any role in any organization – preferably one involved with the production of adult videos.
“I would be willing to work as a president of a company and publicize the hell out of it. I know how to generate media interest,” Goldstein told AVN.com “Or I can take a quieter role if that’s what they want – I can keep my mouth shut. I’ve been in this industry since the beginning and I know just about every aspect of it. I’ll be their chauffeur is that’s what they want.”
“I just can’t go off and play shuffleboard after all these years of running my own business. I’m not ready for that yet,” he added.
"I'll even take the rap if they need someone to. I've been arrested so many times, that it won't be a big deal to me," Goldstein said.
“If it’s a film company we can do Screw on the West Coast under their names and they can plug their titles in it,” Goldstein suggested.
The East Coast version of Screw will continue to publish.
