Advanced "Traffic Blazer" Search Submission Released

With key cyberspace analysts suggesting half the e-purchases and most Website traffic comes through search engines, Traffic Blazer - a search engine submission service, aimed at helping businesses make an easier path to listing on the major search engines - was introduced by Starfield Technologies April 9.

The company calls it an easy, affordable way - at $29.99 per year, per URL - to build more Website traffic while increasing overall visibility and online presence. The program lets Website owners offer full Web submission services whether theirs are small or medium sized businesses, making it easier to get listed on the big search engines like Google, Yahoo, HotBot, Lycos, MSN, AltaVista, AOL, and more, Starfield said.

"We continue to be committed to delivering quality products and services that are logical, intuitive, intelligent, and above all -- easy to use," said Starfield founder/president Bob Parsons in a statement. "Traffic Blazer is a tool that we believe will help our customers significantly grow their businesses."

The five key features, the company said, are site analysis keyed to search engine requirements; site optimization, with instructions for easy adjustment and repair when the analysis detects issues; automated submission to "dozens" of top search engines and directories; submission status tracking, letting customers track where they stand with the engines, including the engine's submission responses; and, traffic essentials which give a guide to search engine optimization and the search engine industry itself.

Jupiter Research and the Georgia Institute of Technology both say about half the online purchases and 85 percent of all Website traffic come by way of search engines, numbers high enough that it prodded Starfield and its parent Go Daddy Software to get Traffic Blazer into development and online.
