Recognizing the financial hardship that the current HIV outbreak has caused many performers, Adultcon has lowered the cost of booths at their talent expo and are allowing performers to share a booth with another if they wish.
"Following and applauding the lead by ClubJenna, Inc, and as concerned members of the adult community, the management of Adultcon is stepping forward with hopes of helping members of the performing community survive the financial hardships created by (both) the current quarantine and the moratorium," read a statement from Adulton.
Booth space has been dropped from $75 to $50. If performer's choose to split a booth with another performer, the cost will only be $25 each.
Adultcon will also provide five extra tickets, valued at $25 each, for a maximum of ten free tickets per booth.
For talent with a pay site, Adultcon suggests tickets be offered to fans as a gift in exchange for buying a two month membership on their site.
For talent without a pay site, tickets can be sold for cash or used as they want, with the stipulation that the tickets can't be sold at Adultcon.
Adultcon 6 will be held on May 16, 2004 at the Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills.
