AdultChamber's Cyndalie Leaves Publicity For Billing

Saying she was returning to her first and favorite part of the adult Internet, AdultChamber.com publicist Cyndalie got an offer she couldn't refuse: to get back to the billing world as a marketing vice president with PSWBilling.com.

The five-year industry veteran tells AVNOnline.com she is leaving AdultChamber.com on excellent terms but that the PSWBilling offer was just too good to resist, bringing her back to her first line of adult Internet work.

"I have so much pride in the work that I have done for AdultChamber.com/Online Technologies," Cyndalie said in an e-mail interview. "The people are great, the work environment is comfortable, and it really feels like a family…I think that there is still much growth in store for AdultChamber…I chose to move on, primarily, because the offer that was presented to me best covered my knowledge of the industry, and my drive to improve that area of the business."

She had worked for AdultChamber since December 2001, "and through good times and bad was able to keep things moving forward in positive directions with one main focus - helping Webmasters and providing advertisers with Webmaster traffic." She did it, she said, mostly through search-engine marketing, though she was also published widely around the adult Internet as a market, search, and Webmaster tools and community analyst.

Now, Cyndalie said, she'll get to put what she calls her "bird's eye on the industry" to work developing and growing new and better billing relationships.

"My primary job at PSWBilling.com is to promote PSWBilling.com," she said. "From targeted marketing campaigns, to writing articles and Webmaster assistance, building, developing, and creating a more productive environment for adult Webmasters. No part of this industry is more challenging and dynamic than the billing industry. It is my hope to keep Webmasters and merchants informed of how to use these changes to their marketing advantage, creating more revenue for everyone all the way around."

Asked what she saw as the strongest advance for adult Webmasters in the past few years, Cyndalie said it's the adult Internet becoming more businesslike, with the best surviving and "newbies less afraid" of learning.

"Reality has checked in, and it's not leaving for awhile," she said. "This is not just a hobby anymore, this is a business. You must pay to play. From hosting and content, to marketing and billing. Search engine traffic is only free to the experts it seems most of the time. It takes money to make money, and more important than that it takes research and knowledge of the business to succeed. Better safe than sorry. In all cases.

"…The fact that there are knowledgeable people in this business like YnotBob, LAJ, Connor, Larry Walters, JD Obenberger, Marsha, Kathee Brewer, and way too many more to mention, these types of people are the true advance of this business," she continued. "Some survive solely on teaching others the ropes. It is the biggest investment we can make. I support those who are dedicated to making this business better for those to follow."

As for where the adult Internet goes in the next few years, she was no less emphatic: breaking out of the mainstream and treating online adult entertainment "as a sub-net users must subscribe to, such as cable. This is better at keeping kids out and providing an environment where the money spent by adult entertainment viewers goes back into the industry, rather than buried in some mainstream companies financial document," she said.

Is it an easy or simple solution? Not exactly, she said. "But perhaps it will inspire growth to create an environment where we can make our own rules," she said. "It's a nice dream, but I think ultimately it will take compliance, foresight, and true talent and experience. We got the whole world, in our hands."
