The Mobile Adult Content Congress, scheduled for Jan. 24-26 in Miami, is offering adult webmasters a 50-percent discount off published registration fees until Jan. 5. In addition, three people who register at the same time can attend the conference for the price of two.
The MACC will be the first conference of its kind in the U.S. Speakers from mainstream and adult industry companies – like Vodafone, Playboy, Virgin Mobile UK, Nortel, Adult Mobile Solutions, Mobile Adult Network, Ohmobile, Bango, WAAT Media, and adult video icon Ron Jeremy – are slated to present informative, on-target presentations about the challenges and potential benefits facing both economic sectors as delivery of adult content on mobile phones moves closer to being the explosive phenomenon it is predicted to become.
Among the topics to be addressed are moving from the Web to mobile distribution, how adult content owners and mobile operators can partner effectively and profitably, creation and application of access control and age-verification mechanisms, successful business models, regulatory issues, revenue projections, the role of aggregators and third-party content providers, pricing structures, two-way messaging, mobile video and TV, mobile dating and flirting, mobile gambling, rights management, licensing and revenue sharing, and billing and payment.
