NORTON, Ohio—Norton Adult Video store went up in flames on April 21, according to a report on Ohio.com.
Fire engulfed the store located at 3160 Barber Rd, in Norton, Ohio, near Akron, about 2 p.m., with customers still inside. No injuries were reported though. Store employee Janie Hines said there were five customers inside the store at the time fire was discovered, the report said.
‘‘I smelled, like, plastic burning,’’ Hines told reporters. She also said that when she was smelling plastic burning, one of the five customers screamed out that the corner of the building was on fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to published reports.
The Norton Adult Video store stocked DVDs and novelties and also had video preview booths.
