Adult-Spider, a software program letting you scan the Internet for imagery and videos and download them to your computer automatically, was launched May 26 by Bjorkman Trans-Tech, Inc.
"The person can choose from a list of categories in different niches or put in a Website URL of their choosing to start scanning from," Bjorkman Trans-Tech said in an announcement. "They can also view the images as they are being downloaded either as a slideshow or as thumbnails."
The product can download .jpg images and .wmv, .avi, .mov, and .mpeg video files, but the user can choose to download only movies, only images, or both. And the product can be left to run overnight or while at work, "then wake up or come home to thousands of images and movies downloaded onto (your) computer," Bjorkman added.
Spokesman Mark Bjorkman told AVN Online the product actually took only two weeks to make, with the idea coming from customers complaining about too many popups and ads. "We wanted something where they could get to what they wanted without having to go through all that," he said.
The early guesstimate on Adult-Spider's reception is approximately 75 downloads a day and rising, Bjorkman said. The product is offered as freeware for now. To give it a try, visit Adult-Spider on the Web.
