CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Adult Source Media (ASM), a producer and distributor of adult anime, will continue Japan's longest-running Hentai series, Night Shift Nurses with Kranke Volume 2, shipping to stores July 24.
"This is a bellwether series," John Amatucci, VP of Sales at ASM, told AVN.com. "And what I mean by that is that the series started to grow as it went on…people started to tell other people about some of the crazy scenes in the first ones, and more and more people started to watch it….and the stories in it started to grow. This is honestly the most demented series in Japanese anime, and when it comes to Hentai fans, the more demented the material, the better. The quality is great and the artist is very well known in Japan."
Night Shift Nurses Kranke Volume 2 follows Hikaru Kodama, a woman who can't seem to keep herself out of trouble. Kodama takes the plunge into a world of sexual obedience as she agrees to become the new wife of the sadistic Dr. Hirasaka. Despite Dr. Hirasaka's plea for marriage, he cannot hide his desire to keep experimenting on his bride-to-be.
"The bottom line here is that men are obsessed with nurses, let's face it," continued Amatucci. "And the doctor character, to some men, is a bit of an inner fantasy."
