Adult Pixel Site, a “per-pixel billboard advertising” website that launched March 10, is auctioning off the first 1,600 pixels of advertising space. The auction, which will end March 19, lists a starting bid of 99 cents with no reserve.
According to APS’ owners, the 1,600-pixel advertising space has a retail value of $800.
“By taking the latest advertising medium on the Internet to a whole new level and improving the formula, we are able to keep the prices low and guarantee our advertisers no less than at least 10 years of traffic, no strings attached,” according to a statement released by the company.
