After officially launching in Amsterdam, November's Adult Online Europe is running "conveniently and logically" alongside World Telemedia here, with over 150 top companies promoting on the show floor over three days of "high level conference and an incredible networking schedule," AOE announced June 25.
"The European adult business has an exciting future with the range of communications technology, billing options and a legal environment positively encouraging growth in this market," AOE organizers said. "And with over 400 million potential consumers, the biggest players (and stars) will be there, eager to capitalize on some massive opportunities."
They said the real winners, in assessing broader perspective on how adult content is likely to be sold and distributed in the years to come, will be those complementing Internet offerings with mobile, pay television, telephony services, and merchandising. But it will require partnerings that involve content providers, Webmasters, network operators, billing companies, broadcast, publishing, and technology providers, such as those attending the AOE conference, they added.
"In Europe, we're also seeing a so called 'mainstream' of corporate players now proactively seeking to partner adult providers as they recognize the huge potential and expertise that generates serious volumes of profitablevoice, internet and mobile traffic," said AOE sales and marketing director Jarvis Todd. "We're seeing incredible innovations as content (particularly in adult entertainment) is integrated across multiple platforms and European consumers have the appetite and spending power to fuel serious growth in this sector."
