Adult Emergency Fund Fundraiser Featuring Blondage Tonight

Vivid Girl Janine and Wicked Girl Julia Ann, other wise known as the popular adult dance team Blondage, will reunite at a star-studded special event tonight to raise money for the Adult Industry Assistance Fund (AIAF), an emergency fund designed to help performers in need during the current HIV outbreak.

“In situations like this, everyone has to pitch in and do what they can,” Julia Ann said. “We [Janine and Julia Ann] were talking about what we could do to help and we decided that raising money for the new emergency fund that Jenna Jameson had just started would be an excellent idea.”

AIAF was founded earlier this month by Jenna Jameson and her husband, Jay Grdina, in response to the HIV outbreak and resulting quarantine.

Blondage hasn’t performed for approximately two-and-a-half years, but during the duo’s first run, from 1991 until 1999, they were one of the most popular dance acts in adult.

“Janine and I always just had a chemistry together while we working together,” Julia Ann said, by way of explaining the duo’s popularity. “We would sometimes simulate and sometime not simulate sex while on stage. Sometimes not simulating got us in trouble, once we were even thrown in jail for a night.”

And will there be stimulated or not-stimulated sex at the Spearmint Rhino?

“We’ll be the Blondage that everyone expects,” Julia Ann said.

And not only are a Vivid Girl and a Wicked Girl working together, but the event is co-sponsored by Wicked Pictures and Vivid Entertainment. Spearmint Rhino donated their City of Industry venue to host the event.

The evening will start with Club Video exclusive Gina Lynn, followed by the dance team T & A, Teri Weigel and Amber Lynn.

Shay Sights cancelled a night at another venue in order to able to appear at the fundraiser. Former Vivid Girl Dyanna Lauren and Wicked Girl Jessica Drake are also slated to perform.

Julia Ann states that since the event is a fundraiser, there won’t be any industry comps, citing the limited number of seats.

The cover has not been set yet. The event will start at 5p.m. in the City of Industry at the Spearmint Rhino on May 1.

The address of the Spearmint Rhino in the City of Industry is: 15411 East Valley Boulevard
