Adult Check Restructures, Unwraps 2-Tier Hybrid

Come November 16, Adult Check will replace its current adult verification system with a hybrid product designed in conjunction with its top-producing Webmasters, the company said in a November 10 announcement.

"This hybrid, a first in the adult industry, will enable Adult Check to comply with recent and future regulatory changes and remain the most successful, profitable business of its kind for years to come," Adult Check said in their announcement. The company's major spokesman regarding the new hybrid program was unavailable for further comment before this story went to press.

Select vendors were asked to make a new program combining AVS marketability with paysite accountability, a group of vendors known as Tier 1 who began a contract relationship with Adult Check to supply content to Adult Check end-users, the company said. In addition, 250 more Webmasters were invited to become Tier 2 affiliates driving traffic to the new system.

Content belonging to Webmasters who aren't in the Tier 1 group would be removed from the Adult Checks links list November 10, the company said, and those sites would be deactivated come November 16, with neither sales nor authentication from the sites functioning. Tier 2 affiliates won't be allowed to manage content in the AC system, but Adult Check said it would continue its business relationship with them, accepting new signups through affiliate tours and paying out existing and future rebills to Tier 2 affiliates remaining in good standing with Adult Check program requirements.

Those who are in neither Tier 1 or Tier 2 relationships will have their relations and financial commitments with Adult Check terminated, the company said, with final payments paid out "pursuant to existing accounting policies for any sums due and payable prior through that date."
