Adult Check has begun allowing tour page traffic trades with what they call three of the most experienced link list operators in the business, Tommy's Bookmarks, Where The Fuck, and Niched Hubs.
"Adult Check changed their policy regarding exit links on tour pages for both AC regular and AC gold sites," said Sebastian of Niched Hubs in a statement. "AC Webmasters are now allowed to trade links on tour pages listed on ACs links list. This is a good thing, because it makes the Webmaster's life much easier."
Adult Check public relations director Cory Hedgepeth said they hope the new traffic trades give their Webmasters now and coming another and simpler traffic tool, especially considering a less than sunny past few months in adult cyberspace.
"It is no secret that the past few months in the industry have served little in the way of creating Webmaster unity and optimism," said Hedgepeth. "As an industry leader, I believe it is our duty to begin to act like one and provide a Webmaster atmosphere that will serve to create and stimulate sales across the board."
AC Webmasters can now trade links with AC-approved, related sites, link lists, adult directories, and related sites, to direct new traffic toward theirs and AC's sites. But they must avoid banners, ads, text links, popups, that aren't AC site or product promotions if they want to keep their tier status. "Traffic-oriented link trades do not count for tiering," the new AC policy says, "as long as they are one of the approved and comply with the below policy."
Approved traffic and link trades can go on any tour page except the page with the AC signup and login script, the policy continues, since the AC signup/script page has only exit links to other AC sites and permitted products. And sites designed to leach links list traffic from AC will be excluded from search engine results and not put on the links list, the policy adds.
Hedgepeth cautioned, however, that the new link list traffic policy could be changed depending on the success or lack thereof from it. "(But) I am confident that this will not be the case and we as an industry will move forward with grace, prosperity and unity," he said. "It is important to understand that Adult Check is now entering an aggressive phase to stimulate the overall adult industry economy and I am confident that taking steps such as this will serve to move us closer to this goal."
