Adam and Eve, Candida Royalle Throw Launch Party

On Monday, director Candida Royalle and Adam & Eve Productions threw a party at New York hotspot Madame X to celebrate the release of Royalle's latest title Under the Covers and the launch of her Femme Productions line Femme Chocolat.

"This was a great way to kick off a whole new slate of fabulous joint projects between Femme and Adam and Eve," said Royalle. "Between the new movies, a new line and the new female directors I'm grooming, we have much to celebrate."

Joining Royalle and producer Jamye Waxman at the event was the cast of Under the Covers: Syren, Sativa Verte, Mariah Ritani, Erika Kole, Charly Carlyle, Tyler Marciano, Primo and Johnny Dannon, as well as Adam & Eve execs Bob Christian, Peter Reynolds and Ryan Thomas.

Also in attendance were legendary performer Jamie Gillis, New York restaurateur Zarela, Entertainment Weekly film reviewer Owen Glieberman, columnist Rachel Kramer Bussel, radio personality Dr. Judy Kuriansky, former Free Speech Coalition lobbyist Kat Sunlove; sexuality author and columnist, Dr. Joy Davidson; and writers from Redbook, Glamour, Women's Health, Penthouse, the NY Post and NY Press.

Party gift bags included a copy of Under the Covers, a Natural Contours JOLIE vibrator, Adam & Eve lube, condoms and extra batteries.

Royalle's Femme Chocolat imprint focuses on women of color. The first title, AfroDiteSuperstar, was helmed by Venus Hottentot and will debut in March.
