HILLSBOROUGH, N.C.—Adam & Eve Pictures announced today that it will distribute AVN Hall of Fame helmsman Michael Ninn's long-shelved epic The Four, which the studio says marks Ninn's directorial swan song.
Originally slated to be released in 2008 by the now defunct Ninn Worx_SR, the over three-hour long megaproduction, modeled after Hollywood smash 300, stars then Ninn Worx contract girls Brea Bennett, Cassidey, Nikki Kane and Renee Perez as women warriors who avenge both their men and their nation following the desiccation of the Spartans after the Battle of Thermopylaie in ancient Greece.
“I am so pleased to finally see The Four come to fruition,” Ninn commented. “And to pair it with Adam & Eve for release is simply the best possible scenario.”
Featuring elaborate blue screen effects, the movie takes place in 480 B.C. and tells the tale of four widows of the Spartan 300 who unite to assassinate the Persian God King Xerxes as revenge for their husbands' deaths.
The Four will be released as a four-disc set, including a bonus disc featuring never-released footage of the Ninn Worx contract girls. It is scheduled to arrive in January, with an official website launching in October.
“We are so happy to have the privilege of distributing Michael Ninn’s final film,” Adam & Eve producer Bob Christian said. “This movie truly is the most impressive adult movie since Pirates.”
