Adam & Eve has announced the opening of its West Coast offices in Southern California.
The new Los Angeles branch, situated on De Soto Ave. in Chatsworth, will be headquarters for Adam & Eve Pictures, as well as its wholesale sales and distribution hub.
Industry veterans Peter Reynolds and Mischa Allen have recently joined the Adam & Eve team to help run the West Coast division, and Adam & Eve employees Frank Gavin and Ryan Thomas have relocated to California to further this endeavor (with design and sales efforts, respectively).
Adam & Eve Vice President of New Business, Bob Christian, said that the recent move has been a long time coming. “We’ve always wanted a presence in Los Angeles,” explained Christian. “With our headquarters in North Carolina, we've often felt a bit out of the industry loop with sales and production.
“Now we’re next door to Topco, who make our signature toy line, and down the street from AVN... we are 100 percent committed.”
Christian said that he plans on dividing his time between California and North Carolina, leaving day-to-day sales, licensing and production to Reynolds, Allen and executive producer, Meredith Christopher. “Our production schedule has grown to 60 plus new features, and over 100 total releases a year and we have seen huge changes within the industry over the past few years. I feel confident the team will take us to the next level.”
Reynolds said that he is excited about the challenge. “I am eager to push for bigger, better things in the near future,” he said.
Allen agrees. "Working with Bob Christian and Adam & Eve over the past several months to get this office going has been an exciting project for me and now that we're up and ready to move to the next level is very satisfying."
