VAN NUYS, Calif.—Rapidly on the rise starlet Abella Danger lands her first lead role in DreamZone Entertainment's forthcoming Sleeping With Danger, a triple-X spin on 1991 Julia Roberts thriller Sleeping With the Enemy.
Due out in September, Sleeping With Danger also stars Karmen Karma, Brooklyn Chase, Steven St. Croix, Tyler Nixon, Tommy Gunn and Ryan McLane, and was directed by Barrett Blade.
"I'm really nervous, because I've never starred in a feature before," Danger told AVN. "It was awesome working with Steven St. Croix. It was really easy to connect to my character ... I thought it was really cool because it was an opportunity for people to see me portrayed in a more serious role than my crazy 19-year-old self. I want people to really like it."
"No one riffs on mainstream classics quite like DreamZone, and the main ingredient is a faithfulness to the stories, spiced up with the undeniable draw of high caliber sex," DreamZone vice president Adam H. said. "Abella Danger is mesmerizing as the vulnerable, beautiful female protagonist, and besides wanting to be with her, you can't help but root for her."
