Abbywinters.com is celebrating its seventh year in the adult industry. The Aussie all-girl site mixes amateur models — no makeup, airbrushing or scripting — with professional production standards.
“For over seven years, we've been pursuing a vision to trigger social change, to subvert the dominant paradigm,” said website CEO, Garion Hall. “And we can see now that it's worked. There's a growing demand for passionate, amateur content - with real amateurs. We've known, and the success of our site has proven, that people want to see a different genre, an alternative to what once was considered ‘mainstream.’ Now, the very definition of ‘mainstream’ is being challenged.”
In January, the Australian site is coming to the United States for the first time to attend AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, with ten of its top models who are eager to meet industry members and fans.
Abbywinters produces two DVD lines drawn from its online content, one dedicated to masturbation, the other to girl-girl scenes. Both lines have been nominated in the Best Series categories for the 2008 AVN Awards. And for the second year running, the site has won the Australian Adult Industry Award for Best Website, a prestigious award with fierce competition.
“We have very high standards for what content we release,” said videographer and former site model, Susie. “If the girls don't get into it during a sex scene, it never makes the site. It's rare that any of our models have gotten naked in front of a camera, much less have sex in front of one. This means that when they do the scenes for us, they naturally focus all their attention on their partners, not on the camera or a director. Our scenes are never scripted. Instead, the girls just go for it, and we do our best to capture the action.”
