Launched in March 2005, Adult Webmaster Empire arrived with a vengeance.
The amalgamation of cam sites LiveJasmin and JOYourSelf, AWE established itself in a highly competitive market – that includes no shortage of heavyweights – through a concerted marketing effort and by carefully catering to its affiliate base.
“We work very hard to handle each of our affiliates on a personal basis. Working with webmasters on a personal level can do wonders to conversions, which is obviously good for all parties involved,” says senior affiliate manager Ron Koles. “I’d say this is the essential element that gives us the edge over other programs.”
AWE has implemented a message board for its webmasters and, on the program’s homepage, posts conversion rates, sales, and referrals stats for top affiliates, creating an atmosphere where affiliates can share their experiences with one another, aiming to make everyone more profitable.
In a year’s time, the company has seen the ante continuously upped in its marketplace, but it seems to have upped its game, too.
“Technology moves fast, but innovation has always been one of our main objectives, and we’re pretty content with the rate of development,” Koles says. “But, no matter how advanced a site is technologically, if it lacks the personal touch and flow of communication between the site and its affiliates, members, and performers, it’s not going to do well.”
