Kira Eggers is huge in Denmark. The beautiful model-actress is popular in most parts of the world (ok, maybe not Ghana), but in her native country of Denmark she’s a bona fide superstar.
Considered one of the leading women in the nude modeling industry in Europe and abroad for many years, the Copenhagen-born Eggers (Kiraeggers.com) is embarking on the next chapter of an already thriving career.
In May Eggers was the cover girl for the Denmark edition of the popular “lad mag” FHM. The cover shoot and layout was a collector’s edition for fans of Eggers, as the FHM gig marked the finale of Eggers career as a nude model—although not the end of her career in the adult business. In her first post-modeling endeavor, Eggers directed her first film, a sexy romp she promises is loaded with hot and heavy action.
In July Eggers stepped in front of the camera as a co-lead for a mainstream film shooting in Denmark called “Næste skridt,” which means, well, I have no idea what it means, but the drama/comedy is about “… five young people, about to embark on the next big step in life.” There’s even an entry on Imdb.com, so it’s official.
Unless you are actually in Denmark, it’s hard to grasp just how popular Eggers is there. When Eggers and I chatted at a café in Los Angeles during her visit, she told me that if we were in Copenhagen there’d be photos in the magazines about who she was with and what she was doing—something analogous to that of Lindsay Lohan in America.
Honestly, I could use the exposure. But for Eggers, the charming, all-natural beauty with the crystal blue eyes, her popularity is undeniable and the next stage in her career is off to a rousing and exciting start.
