AVN's Mark Kernes Gets Supersized On NPR

AVN senior writer Mark Kernes appeared on NPR this morning to debate the concept of "Supersizing." The segment was titled "Adult Entertainment Stores Join Supersizing Trend." The discussion covered the recent trend in the adult entertainment industry of big-box retailing. Specifically, Kernes and Tandaleya Wilder of member station WSHU chatted about the arrival of adult superstore chains in Milford, Conn., which is not sitting well with municipal officials.

The recent documentary film Supersize Me, which debates the fast food industry's penchant for "bigger is better" regarding their food servings and the subsequent health issues that arise, has brought the topic to the forefront of political discussions. Now, the adult retail world is the subject of similar roundtable debates, with Kernes jumping into the fray to stand up for porn's right to "supersize" like everyone else.
