AVN introduces today an important new website, www.avn.com/2257, designed to serve as a resource for producers, manufacturers, webmasters and everyone else who has to deal with the Federal record-keeping and labeling regulations, 18 U.S.C. §2257.
It will be of special importance to advertisers who must comply with AVN’s new advertising standards.
Documents to be found on the site are the new AVN advertising standards; an advertising standards checklist; letters to producers and AVN and AVN Online advertisers explaining the revised standards; and “The 2257 Client Handbook: A Guide to Complying with the Federal Record-Keeping and Labeling Laws in 2005,” prepared by attorneys Paul J. Cambria, Jr. and Roger W. Wilcox, Jr. Also: the text of the lawsuit challenging the regulations, Free Speech Coalition et al v. Gonzales, filed in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
