AVN Announces Nixon Marques as Creative Director

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — AVN® Media Network, Inc., the world’s largest consolidator of adult content and information, today announced Nixon Marques as their new corporate creative director. Marques is responsible for strategically setting the creative direction for all AVN branded products and services, and will help lead the effort to reinvent and drive the brand globally.

“Nixon is supremely innovative and we are fortunate to have him on board to lead our award-winning creative team,” said Darren Roberts, AVN’s CEO. “His accomplishments as an art director are impressive and vast. He has worked with some of the world’s most admirable and trustworthy brands, which gives him a unique vision and design intuition that is critical to our expansion into other markets.”

Marques brings more than 17 years of creative art experience to AVN. Prior to his role as creative director, he served as an art director for advertising agencies around the world, including companies in Zimbabwe, London, Miami and Los Angeles. In his capacity as an art director, he was a visionary force for corporations such as Wal-Mart®, Coca-Cola®, Disney®, Honda®, Nissan®, Colgate®, Black and Decker® and Visa®.

In addition to his work with the aforementioned brands, Marques’ creative touches can be seen in hotels, universities and the Miss World Cup pageant. He attended Miami Advertising School and Corcoran School of Arts in Washington, D.C.
