On Thursday, April 6, “AVN Afternoons” will feature Acid Rain president Mitchell Spinelli.
The show, co-hosted by AVN Online Senior Editor MJ McMahon and model and former Penthouse Pet Aimee Sweet, airs live at 4 p.m. ET every Thursday on YNOT Radio.
Spinelli grew up in the adult business. His father, Anthony, was one of the all-time great adult directors, and Mitchell wrote some of his films. After forming Plumb Productions with his father and later Rain Productions (both of which produced features) by himself, Spinelli changed his style and his business model and formed Acid Rain Productions, one of the top names in gonzo.
“Mitchell has been around the adult business for so many years, he’s really seen how it has morphed and changed over the years,” McMahon says. “As someone who has adapted to the changing times to remain vital, we’ll see how he’s reinvented himself and his company, along with getting some good stories from the early days of adult.”
In addition to chatting with Mitchell Spinelli, “AVN Afternoons” also will recap the Phoenix Forum and recount the hosts’ wild adventures in Phoenix.
