ANTI-PORN TV ADS SAID PROVOCATIVE

A non-profit organization has started running provocative television ads calling for more strict enforcement of anti-pornography laws.

The Citizens for Community Values is set to start running three ads on Memphis-area television stations urging adults "to warn your kids about the danger of pornography." Two of the adds address Internet porn, while the third features an interview with Ted Bundy just before the serial killer's execution - in which Bundy says all the violent criminals he met in prison were addicted "deeply" to porn.

The group's Memphis executive director, George Kuykendall, tells PRNewswire the group decided to pay commercial rates for the spots, rather than run them as public service announcements, to make sure the messages were seen by as many - especially teenagers - as possible.
