Allure Pictures says it now has the funding to shoot Swami, MD II, an adult video with a cybercatch - company chief Jeff Harter says they're looking to feature nothing but girls who have their own adult Web sites.
Harter says who the girls are is yet to be determined, although Allure is aiming to shoot the feature in late March with a mid-May target release.
"I have no firm commitments, but I have a whole bunch of feelers out there. They'd all be first-timers as far as professional videos go," he tells AVN On The Net.
Harter says he got the idea after scouting numerous adult Web sites and discovering how many of them involved amateurs. "Seems like thousands of Web sites out there where people are doing sex stuff from home, and you go to these sites, and a lot of these girls are doing hardcore from home," he says. "And, some of them are pretty awesome looking, so I thought this would be kind of unique - and it would be a promotion vehicle for their sites, too."
So far as is known, Allure may be the first adult filmmakers to try this idea of amateur Net girls on film. "I've talked to a couple of distributors, and they can't recall anything like this as a feature-type thing," Harter says. "They'd all be first-timers. Basically, that's what I shoot for, anyway."
Harter also says Allure is working on "getting some girls to make little home movies," in a direct-to-customer line, available on the company Web site (www.allurepictures.com). "I'm also networking with amateur Web sites, you'll see me selling their videos and some of them selling mine," he says.
