Adult Industry Medical HealthCare Foundation (AIM) will open an additional location on January 20 in Woodland Hills with gifts, door prizes and, most importantly, a free STD panel for anyone testing within the month of January.rnrn
The STD panel is a retinue of tests that check for syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. "We test between 800 and 900 (adult industry) talent a month," AIM co-founder Sharon Mitchell told AVN.com. "The results are available online for adult companies, and nobody shoots without (negative results of) these tests."rnrn
The additional location is at 19720 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills, about eight miles west on Ventura from the larger, original location.rnrn
Medically speaking, the porn world is self-regulating, Mitchell says, "and we do it better than the government does - that's why they're not in a hurry to regulate." AIM has been providing medical and counseling services for the adult community for almost five years.rnrn
