AEBN Launches Upgraded Theater 7.0

Global adult video-on-demand leader Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network has launched an extensive upgrade to its theater platform, offering customers a range of new features.

The upgraded Theater 7.0 introduces a host of changes, ranging from comprehensive new functions to smaller modifications that aim to make the experience fluid and user-friendly.

Some of the features available in the new theater include support for premium content pricing and multiple-currency billing that allows for payment in several non-American currencies. A theater-builder feature has been added, streamlining the process that affiliates perform when creating a custom theater.

“As the video-on-demand market matures and our library of content increases, it is our goal to offer more options for watching, searching, and paying for content,” says Scott Coffman, president of AEBN. “Our 7.0 release will improve our customer experience and increase our affiliates’ opportunities to generate more revenue.”

While AEBN has continually made improvements to its theater platform during the past six years, the company says this new version is a momentous step, even for a company dedicated to constant innovation.

One of the most important and advanced improvements in the new theater platform is the introduction of a download-to-own option for rentals, and Theater 7.0 has several built-in user interfaces, such as detailed category searches and customizable modules where content can be arranged by series and adult star, allowing customers to find exactly what they want.

The new theater platform and features launched Aug. 1.

AEBN maintains secured distribution rights to more than 50,000 full-length adult titles from more than 1,200 movie studios and video producers with more than 150 straight and gay genres. AEBN markets its huge catalog of content to end users through a worldwide network comprising in excess of 20,000 webmasters.
