David Aaron Clark can make frankly commercial porn, arousing yet artful, like his AVN-award-winning Asia Noir series for Video Team. He also can make deeply personal porn, in which he makes no attempt to please anyone but himself.
Last year's K-POP was in the latter category; so is this, his first release through Madness Pictures. Emphatically not for the ordinary fan, it shows what can be achieved in the rigidly convention-bound porn genre.
Subtitled "The Secret Lives of Asian Whores," it really is a diary — presented in text blocks on screen, some rather extensive, all mordantly witty. (Reading ability is essential for maximum enjoyment.)
