Adult Webmasters have another cyberspace helpmate for resources: a new index collective known as IndustryElite.com, which aims to put all the best resources into the same place.
But if you ask content editor and marketing manager Cynthia (Cyndalie) Fanshaw, an adult Internet veteran who recently departed PSWBilling.com in search of a new challenge, the new site is set up to augment, not compete with, existing resource centers.
"This is just 'another' resource site or Webmaster board... it is a place where you can find out what is going on at all the centers, find quick links to service listings at each, search an index of all the articles, all the boards, and even find Mentors who can assist you if you run into any stumbling blocks," she said, as IndustryElite.com launched this week.
"Our goal is not to directly compete with our resource center friends, but to contribute traffic by indexing the articles and resources at each top resource partner, and to provide a time-saving resource for Webmasters of all skill levels," she continued. "We're here to help and give back to the adult internet community a place that will help Webmasters save time and make money. Ultimately, it is our goal to create a resource which is beneficial to the industry as a whole."
The site's prime elements, IndustryElite.com says, are daily news and press releases, a searchable articles index including links and summaries for pieces at contributing resource sites, an open resource exchange, an events calendar of on- and offline events, and a co-branded version of BoardTracker which hunts all the adult Webmaster boards from a single page, not to mention "Mentor Profiles": Webmasters who serve as board moderators, article writers, show hosts, and basic industry veterans who want to help others in their areas of expertise.
Participating resources include AdultChamber.com, BoardTracker.com, CozyFrog.com, Klixxx.com, RatedHot.com, WebmasterVault.com, and YNOTMasters.com. Webmasters can sign up free to get weekly updates summarizing happenings and new articles around the Webmaster network and to submit their own news, releases, or new links.
