420Times.com Re-Launches As Pay Site

After a decade of offering free hemp-laden babes on the Net, 420Times.com has re-launched as a pay site in an effort to generate enough cash to keep the online enterprise, and the cannabis awareness cause, alive.

The site now offer news, comics, band interviews, porn star interviews, stories, cartoons, a forum, and the 420 Girls.

"At 420Girls.com, we provide hot, naked girls smoking marijuana," 420 president Rob Smith told AVNOnline.com. "You look at each girl's gallery and see their cannabis interviews, where they talk about why they think hemp and marijuana should be legal, why they use it, what they like to munch on when stoned, and much more. We mix it up between politics, comedy, and sex, which makes for a well-rounded interview."

Having been touted by the likes of Rolling Stone and Cannabis Culture, 420 Times and 420 Girls seem like the places to be for pot-loving porn fans ? the only difference being that now the site is a paid one.

"As the site has grown, so has our bandwidth, so I started selling ad space on the site to cover the expenses," Smith explained. "I gave the girls away for free for 10 years. I worked on 420Times.com for 12 hours a day, five to seven days a week, since 1993. I've given all of it to you for free.

"Then Bush outlawed pipes, seeds, and shrooms, and threw everyone in jail. He arrested all of my advertisers and eliminated my revenue. Now, where will the money come from to pay for this site? So we made 420Girls.com a pay site to continue to spread the word.

"I have been one of the world's biggest freedom fighter for years. This is for the cause. Just think of it as paying the 420 Girls as a fee for membership for spreading the word of cannabis. It also keeps 420 Times alive.

And the cause is kept close to Smith's vest, as he shoots most of the pot-fueled content himself.

"I do a lot of the shoots myself," he noted. "I pay for the props, the gear, the Web design, and many other things. I use the girls to get attention, then have their questionnaires displayed to create awareness."

Next up is a Web store that will feature DVDs of the 420 Girls photo shoots.
