CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Hustler Video is delving deeper into the subgenre of blue creatures having 3D sex with in-the-works productions This Ain't Smurfs XXX and This Ain't Avatar XXX 2, both utilizing the latest technology in 3D moviemaking, as well as sophisticated prosthetic enhancements.
"Audiences have come to expect high quality in adult filmmaking, and Hustler Video has been able to match those expectations with our 3D technology, great sets and really fun adult action," Hustler Video director of operations Rob Smith said. "We've booked the absolute best in set design, make-up and various other artistry. Fortunately for us, Hustler has experience in dealing with blue people."
This Ain't Avatar XXX 2 is the sequel to AVN's first-ever Best 3D Release winner (at the 2011 AVN Awards) and Hustler's best-selling parody to date. Like its predecessor, Avatar 2 and the already shot Smurfs are both being helmed by reigning AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun, who also just scored a triple win at the NightMoves Awards.
"After the tremendous success of Avatar, Hustler president Michael Klein asked if we would be willing to go blue one more time," Braun told AVN. "So we hired the best make-up artists from Hollywood, and thanks to the creative input of Drew Rosenfeld and Michael Klein, we actually improved the blue painting process. It's an honor and a thrill to be able to make more sexy spoofs of these successful productions."
